Peristedion orientale
Peristedion orientale, known as the Oriental armoured sea robin, is a small benthic fish reaching about 19 cm. It inhabits marine continental‑shelf bottoms and is rarely targeted by anglers, but can be caught using bottom‑fishing techniques. Though edible, its flesh is soft and not highly prized.
